Sitting at the coffee shop this morning writing and wondering when I’ll publish again.
An email arrived saying I’d won a national contest and my poetry chapbook will be published this fall.
My first thought? Really?! Is this true? Is it a quality press?
Yes, and yes!
A witch just walked past my window.
She was in a black cape, raven hair.
She didn’t look at me, but knew I was watching.
What moxie.
