Betheny Lynn Reid is an award-winning poet, essayist, and writer of short fiction hidden in boxes and in letters and emails sent to family and friends. She has also published in The Sun magazine, The White Rocker and Big Bend Literary Magazine.
Her non-fiction writing has propelled her career working around the world in communications/marketing, public affairs and non-profit, especially higher education, executive management.
Not wanting an Emily Dickinson-type obituary where her massive collection of novels, short fiction and poetry is found postmortem, Ms. Reid is now submitting her fiction and poetry for publication.
Her first novel, Under The Autumn Moon is available at your local bookstore or at Amazon and on Kindle.
She is often found reading her poems during Inner Moonlight at the Wild Detectives Bookstore and sitting at the local coffee shop writing short fiction and novels when she’s not hiking and traveling every part of the world she can possibly reach. She lives with her husband and two cats and enjoys frequent visits from her son and his beloved.
